I've still got admin rights there so I occasionally send out spam to all the registered members when a group of us get into a game together. Think I sent one out for Guild Wars, Pirates of the Burning Sea, SWTOR, and who knows what's next.

Sony is trying Cross platform with their Vita, but its unlikly they will ever do that to much.. computer allows for so much more costimization that it puts them at a huge advantage in PVP

Creating your characters and Rapid Raid

Hey guys we are going to be changing the way we sign up for raids as it's starting to get a bit cluttered in our forums and it can be possible to miss out on other important subjects in the mess.

In order for us to make the proper move, we will be using the web-site's Rapid Raid system.

What does this mean you have to do? Simple. Follow these instructions in order to make a character(s) that you will be able to select.

1) Click the Guild Roster Tab on the main header.
2) On the bottom of the list, click Add a Character to The Myrmidons
3) Fill out the appropriate information for all of your raiding elegible characters.

4) Go to the Rapid Raids Tab on the main header.
5) Select a raid that you want to go to, and sign up on that event.

That's it! When you sign up you are time-stamped when you do so, meaning one of our officers will see you want to go and at what time you did so, so it is still on the first come first server basis just as it has been from the forums style.

If you think you might not be able to go, but you are wanting to try and go, there is an option to select "Tentative".

We will be inviting those of you that signed up as Available and are online when the raid starts you will be first invited to the raid. If however you are unable to make it and have signed up as Tentative, you will be set on the waiting list.

The Tentative spot will act as a Waiting List, but only if you're online during the raid. Those people that are online and never used the Rapid Raid, and the raid was already full will get first priority IF those people that signed up as Tentative are NOT online.

For example:

Ona signed up for Raid X but put himself as Tentative. Cyranus missed the sign ups for the raid due to not thinking he was going to be online so decides to login and try and make the raid. Ona does not show up online and the raid has already invited all the accepted members but still has room for one more person from the Waiting List. Cyranus gets the spot as Ona is not online to join.

New Raiding Schedule

No one understands this better than me which is why I like to get it done in one night and not spread out. The start and end time issues is recognized and has been discussed by the officers but there is no easy solution as currently is almost a dead split down the middle for our active raiders. Until we start becoming more proficient at these runs I foresee us not getting them done in available time slots. Now we can finish them another night but it's getting a group together to do that and I would assume that those that put in the effort and time initially should get priority and want to run it. But again are they available for start times. It will be a challenge. All suggestions and ideas are welcome. I'm thinking it might be better to take down that structure that's in place and rather put out a weekly invite on the forums and people put their availability for days and time slots and what they want to run. We then book a couple of runs based on that.
